Employee allegedly assaulted in suspected robbery at Burlington cellphone store

Halton police are looking for two suspects in connection with the reported robbery of a Burlington cellphone store on Wednesday, April 20.

Around 2:45 p.m., according to the police, two hooded men entered the company, which is located in the district of Appleby Line and Palladium Wayand asked the employee to open the safe.

The employee was allegedly assaulted as the suspects made the request.

Police say the thieves eventually got away with a number of stolen iPhones and Samsungs.

They were seen getting into a black Toyota Corolla, which police later determined was stolen in Toronto.

The employee was slightly injured during this incident.

No weapons were seen or indicated.

The first suspect is described as white and about six feet tall with a slim build.

He wore a black balaclava, black hoodie, white shirt underneath, black skinny jeans, white gloves, and white Air Jordan shoes with a distinct black toe and trim above the sole.

The second individual is described as white and about six feet tall with a muscular build.

He wore a black balaclava, black hoodie, navy shirt underneath, black pants, gray gloves and black Air Force 1 shoes.
