Mobile phone shop robbed at gunpoint: Lower Merion Police

OVERBROOK HILLS, PA — A cell phone store in the Overbrook Hills section of Lower Merion Township was burglarized at gunpoint on Tuesday, Lower Merion Police say.

Police said the robbery took place around 4:56 p.m. Tuesday at the Boost Mobile Store located at 1415 W. City Ave. in Overbrook Hills.

Two men entered the store and then held an employee at gunpoint, forcing them to show the men where the iPhones were.

Police said the men stole about seven iPhones.

They then left the back of the store and were seen heading north on Edgevale Road and then east on Haverford Road.

Both men were described as black. One wore a blue and white striped jacket, dark track pants and dark sneakers while the other wore a black jacket with fur around the hood, track pants and dark sneakers.
